[Uwh-announce] Three things to alert you to

Hi All,

Three things to alert you to:

1. Tomorrow night at the Aquatic Centre (DKHAC) the disability access ramp that runs along the top in front of the gym (i.e. above entrance to the changerooms) will be closed for some works, so please avoid that area and use the stairs;

2.  Dark Mofo kicks off tomorrow night with the "Reclamation Walk" at 7pm which starts at the Regatta Grounds.  There are going to be road closures, so best to allow extra time for coming to the pool and approach via the Domain;

3. Many of you will already be aware that there will be no Tasmanian teams competing at the upcoming Nationals 2022 (4th - 9th July) on the Gold Coast.  This is certainly disappointing, particularly given Tassie's long history of strong representation at National Championships. However, for various reasons, including the mid-year timing being unsuitable for many, there were just insufficient players available to field viable teams. On the positive side, the 2023 Nationals, to be held in Bunbury, WA, will be returning to the January time slot (dates yet to finalised – details to follow) and Tasmania will aim to field strong teams in all categories.
