[Uwh-announce] Coaches for 2023 Nationals and submission of EOI by players

Hi All,

At last Wednesday's TUHA Committee Meeting the following Tasmanian Team Coaching appointments were made, based on applications received:

Tas U15 and U19 Open teams - Coach Nathan Whelan (nathwhelan at hotmail.com<mailto:nathwhelan at hotmail.com>)

Tas Women Elite - Coach Tori Wickham (vrwickham at gmail.com)

Tas Men Elite - Coach Sean Conaty (email_sean at hotmail.com)

Congratulations to Nathan, Tori and Sean.

ALL PLAYERS WHO WISH TO NOMINATE for the selections of the U15, U19, Womens, and Mens teams should send an email to the respective team Coach as soon as possible.

Players wishing to try out for the U15 team must be 14 years or younger at start of 2023.
Players wishing to try out for the U19 team must be 18 years or younger at start of 2023.
If your 15th or 19th birthday is in January 2023, then you are still eligible to try out for these teams.

The selections for the U15 and U19 teams will be held at Hobart Aquatic Centre on 3rd and 10th of October (7.30pm in water, but please arrive at 7pm to allow for allocation of numbers). There will be a selection panel in-water, observing and assessing the players in as fair and 'neutral' way as possible.
Dates for the selections for the Womens and Mens teams to be advised.

We have yet to receive any applications or expressions of interest for Coach for the Tasmanian Masters Open Team. If you are interested in that role, please contact TUHA Secretary, Shaun Quin (secretary at underwaterhockey.com.au<mailto:secretary at underwaterhockey.com.au>), as soon as possible.
