Here is the latest information on the 2023 Nationals, provided by Tournament Director, Josh Mackenzie, and with the Information Pack attached.

Hi All,
I am pleased to present the Official Information Pack for Nationals 2023 in Bunbury.
Key Information to consider for your State’s preparations and to pass on to your members:
Competition Dates
Monday 16th – Saturday 21st January
Opening Ceremony to be held approx. 6pm on Monday 16th January.
Optional paid state team training available prior to opening ceremony.
Finals and Presentations held on Saturday 21st January.
Australian Team Selections
Elite Men and Elite Women’s Australian Team selections will be held on Monday 16th after 12pm (exact time TBC) AND after finals on Saturday 21st
Masters Australian Team Selections will be held after finals on Saturday 21st
There is a small amount of time allocated for U19/U24 Australian Teams to either hold selections or just a scratch match. Selections, if held, would likely be for a squad to attend a selections/training camp to prepare for a competition in late 2023 (TBC).
Competitions Fees
We have made an effort to keep costs as low as possible, in particular for our junior players.
In addition, UHA has revised their fees (UHA Capitation and Referee Levy) to further reduce costs for junior players.
Registration and Payments – Key dates/information
We will provide forms and bank details for Team and Player Registration in the next month.
1st September (or earlier if possible) - Please email uwhnationals2023 at gmail.com to advise of your State’s intended team entries for each division.
1st November - Team Registration and Fees Due
1st December - Player Registration and Fees Due
January – all other fees due
Junior Accommodation
UWHWA has secured relatively cheap accommodation at Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School Boarding House which would be suitable for interstate junior teams.
First in first served.

Location
A reminder that Bunbury is approximately 2hrs South of Perth so please factor this into your travel arrangements.

"We also need to get players to advise me if they would like to book the Bunbury Grammar School accommodation, I have tentatively reserved some rooms however we need to get final numbers now as this is filling up fast.
