[Uwh-announce] Annual General Meeting

Hi TUHA members,

 

The Annual General Meeting for the Tasmanian Underwater Hockey Association
will be held on 3 November 2021 at 7:51 in-between the first and second
games. The draft minutes from 2020 is attached.

 

All Committee positions will become vacant and a new Committee will be
elected.

If you wish to nominate for a position please send your nomination via email

Positions are:

*	president
*	vice-president
*	treasurer
*	secretary
*	chief referee
*	equipment officer
*	development officer
*	webmaster & media officer
*	state co-ordinator (pending special resolution acceptance)
*	two general committee members

 

PLEASE NOTE

At this AGM there will be a special resolution to pass a small change to the
Association's Constitution.

The position of social director on the committee will be replaced with a
position named State Co-ordinator. (section 10.3 of the constitution).

 

The Social Director duties will be picked by another committee member as
required. This is occurring presently as we have not had a Social Director
for some time, the position was not filled at the last AGM.

The State Co-ordinator will take the lead for development and management of
our sport at a State level and liaise with other bodies when required. They
will work with State teams and coaches to provide better communication path
to the Committee.

If you have any questions or on the changes to the Constitution please don't
hesitate to contact a Committee member.
