Pennant 1 Registration + AUF Membership
With the start of Pennant 1 now very close (Wed 3rd March), please make sure you do the payment of your TUHA Pennant Registration and also check that you are current with your AUF membership. As mentioned by Chris earlier, "Please ensure you have your TUHA member card when entering the pool and scan in. If you have held a membership previously your card will automatically be encoded with the required access details. If you have lost your card it is $5 for a replacement one and for that please see the pool Reception desk prior to the pennant starting".

Some of you may be asking/thinking "Why do we need to be AUF members?  What do we get for that?"  Well, the answer to those queries is more what does TUHA get by you being an AUF member, and the primary and essential benefit is the insurance cover that comes with the membership. By TUHA members being AUF members, our Association is covered for accident and injury (and for worse) to third parties. Without such insurance we could be held liable for major damages costs, and in fact, we cannot legally operate as a sporting body without the insurance.  In addition, a proportion of the AUF membership subscription is returned to TUHA and hence it is a valuable component of TUHA's income and assists in covering the running costs for each pennant.

Resumption of Monday Night General Training
General training will resume on Monday 22nd Feb for 7pm - 8pm.  Please note that only one court will be available for General Training while our State Teams are in training, in lead up to the Nationals (3 - 6 April). So, if you are keen for joining in for General Training, make sure you get to the pool early. With only one court available, numbers will have to be capped at 12 players per side. And if numbers do get to that level, or even with 1 - 2 subs on each side, please be fair to all and rotate the subbing through ALL the team, to give everyone a good go.
