[Uwh-announce] COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear Members, as we are all aware the pool is closed due to the OVID-19 pandemic.

For those that are interested there is a new website that has up to date public information www.coronavirus.tas.gov.au<http://www.coronavirus.tas.gov.au>

An assessment will be conducted by the pool on the 22 April 2020 in conjunction with advice provided by the Dept of Health and should the pool open on that date we will recommence the pennant and adjust the roster accordingly.   Discounted pennant fees will be given to members in Pennant 2 or we can work out a pro rata refund if members are in financial difficulty.

Should the pool NOT open on April 22 we will continue to reassess our options and Pennant 1 could conceivably start as late as 27th May. Should the pool be closed after that date then we will cancel Pennant 1.

All pennant fees will be rolled over to Pennant 2 OR there will be an option for a refund if members are suffering any financial difficulty.

Regarding Nationals in 2021 - no decision has been made to cancel at this stage.

The committee are continuing to monitor this ever changing situation carefully and will advise members accordingly.
