Hi all

Please be advised that the Wednesday night UWH comp at the DKHAC and Junior Comp on Thursday nights at Clarence have been cancelled.

Please see, attached email from the DKHAC.  We will be in contact with members over the next few week to discuss recommencement of the pennant.

Dear valued user,

The health and safety of members, guests and staff is always our primary concern.

Due to the rapidly developing situation with COVID-19, we have made the tough decision to close the Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre (DKHAC) for at least two weeks from the close of business on Tuesday, March 17. We will base the decision on whether to re-open in a fortnight on the information available at the time.

In light of prevention measures currently being recommended by health authorities such as social distancing, we have made this decision in the interest of the health and wellbeing of our members, guests and staff.

DKHAC is a multi-faceted centre, including a gym, group fitness classes, a cafe and our swimming pools.  A large number of people visit the centre every day including people who may be considered vulnerable to COVID-19.

In regards to user group bookings, the 10 day cancellation clause in agreements or similar is null and void. There will be no fees associated with any cancellations relating to COVID-19 concerns or due to the Centre closing. Current members will be contacted with further information regarding their membership.

We understand the disruption this may cause your programs or seasons but we do thank you for your understanding and patience during this challenging period. We hope to see you back at the centre as soon as possible and will continue to inform you of changes and decisions as they come to light.
