Hi all
This will be a longer than normal post (email) Please ensure you read it and understand the requirements.
Firstly we are officially returning to UWH on Monday the 13th July 2020.
We have the following Monday dates booked for training
Mondays 13th, 20th and 27th July and 3rd August â from 7 - 8 pm
On the following Wednesdays we will have pre-Pennant 2 competition 4s, very informal, which will be organised by our Chief Ref Dave Hilder and our committee member Briody Hilder.
Wednesday 15th, 22nd , 29th July
7â 8.45pm â ALL Welcome to attend including juniors.
On the 5th August as per our existing bookings we will start Pennant 2. Most members have paid pennant fees for pennant one, these will be used for pennant two, those of you that would like to change your registration type please contact myself to discuss.
All team captains are to ensure their teams are ready to go. There will be a captains meeting prior to the pennant (Date and time to be advised). Can all captains please email through to the Vice President (Andrew.cawthorn at awe.gov.au <mailto:Andrew.cawthorn at awe.gov.au>) any team changes prior to the captains meeting, please note the team lists submitted for pennant one will be used for this pennant.
Can any players wishing to nominate for the draft please advise the Vice President via email, also can any players wishing to play as a recruit in a team in a higher grade, that donât have a team also please email the vice president.
All members please ensure that their details are up to date on the TUHA payment portal, particularly email addresses and that all AUF and Pennant fees are paid. There are still some players that have paid pennant fees but not AUF. You know who you are.
Membership cards will be activated so you can swipe in. If you have lost it you will need to pay for a replacement at the DKHAC desk. No Card = No Entry.
Any issues with TUHA pennant fees please call or email myself or Andrew (0419541785). If you are wanting to play in the next pennant and haven't paid or registered please let me know.
Due to COVID-19 we now have to comply with the following requirements prior to, and upon entering the pool. Please also ensure that you follow any directions from pool staff in relation to COVID-19 procedures.
General Hygiene Measures
Sharing of equipment is not permitted. Including but not limited to underwater hockey sticks, masks, snorkels, caps, fins, training equipment, etc
Ensure your equipment is clean and in good working condition prior to the pennant start.
Team captains must wipe down all shared equipment with sanitiser at the end of each pennant game.
Social distancing rules apply to all pennant games poolside. 1.5m , enter the pool one at a time if possible.
Shower at home prior to pennant games and wear clean clothing (note; no showers will be available only toilet access in changerooms).
Shower at home after games and wash clothing to reduce transmission risks
Wash your hands before and after games. (hand sanitiser will be at the desk)
Take care to store your mouthguard appropriately when not in use; do not share drink bottles, clothing, towels etc
NO spitting in the pool
Bring your full water bottle to games with your name clearly visible on the bottle. Players will not share water bottles.
Water fountain usage is discouraged.
Equipment
Shared equipment such as scoring pads, electronic and static scoring equipment will be cleaned, disinfected after each use.
TUHA will use products that are antiviral, meaning it can kill the virus, such as chlorine-based disinfectants or freshly made diluted bleach solution in accordance with Department of Health guidelines.
Movement in and out of the DKHAC
Venue entry and exit should be separate with clear social distancing markings and signage displaying the key information relating to resumption of activities.
TUHA will liaise with the DKHAC to ensure these protocols are met.
Upon arrival at the DKHAC all entrants must scan in before entering the venue. TUHA has membership cards issued to all current financial members and tracking of member entry is available through the DKHAC.
Social distancing measures are maintained at the DKHAC desk as per their policy and all TUHA members are aware of this.
and last but not least. If you are feeling sick DONT come to the pool.
