[Uwh-announce] Call-out for your surplus-to-needs underwater hockey gear

Hi All TUHA members,

THIS IS A BIG CALL-OUT for you to donate any of your underwater gear that is surplus to your needs, to support the entry of new junior players into our Wed night pennant competition.  Your second-hand gear will be used by the juniors while they get organised enough to purchase their own set of gear.
SO, please give thought to what you can donate in the way of sticks (we can arrange for them to be sanded & repainted), caps (but only ones that are not falling apart!), masks, mask-straps, fins (small-med sizes obviously), fin-keepers, snorkels, and gloves.
Any contributions you can make to this gear-pool will be greatly appreciated.  We will have a bin set up at the pool desk on 4th March and on subsequent Wed nights to accept your gear donations.    We are sure that you are all keen to see our Association grow, so we look forward to your response to this call-out.

As many of you will be aware, we are working on expanding C Grade to 6 teams for this next pennant (which starts on Wed 4th March). We anticipate that at least one of the new teams will be largely  made up of keen young ones who have been through the introduction to UWH sessions at Clarence Pool.   For those introductory sessions, we have purchased sets of gear to assist the junior players in their first entry into the sport and to support the 5 week Schools Comp that is planned for Clarence for March - April (and with possible second schools comp later in the year). However, that gear is dedicated to the Clarence Pool sessions and will be stored at Clarence.

This current call-out for gear is to support the juniors joining the Wed night pennant competition.
