[Uwh-announce] Pennant 2 Grand Finals results and Presentations

Hi All,

For those of you who are not on Facebook and have not seen today's posts on TUHA Facebook,
below are the details of the results of last night's Grand Finals and of the announcement and presentation of awards at the Tennis Centre.  CONGRATULATIONS to all the winning teams and to the awardees!!

Many thanks to Racquel Quin (ably assisted by hubby Shaun 😉) for organising the Presentation evening catering. It was great to see the event so well attended.

Grand Final Results:
A Grade
Floggers d. Aquaholics 6 - 2

B Grade
Crabs d. Old Puckers 5 - 1

C Grade
Grizzlies From Hell d. The GFH 4 - 3 (in extra time).


Best and Fairest Players
A Grade:
Winner - Nathan Whelan (20 votes), Isaac Bridley (19), Alec Johnston (17)

B Grade:
Winner - Tasman Inglis (19 votes), Jessen Mitchelmore (16), Brumby Smalley (15)

C Grade:
Winner - Leilani Stephenson (12 votes), Dan Brown (11), Sarah Standen (10)

Highest Goal Scorers
A Grade:
Matt Paine (51 goals!), Isaac Bridley (30), Cameron Lewis (21)

B Grade:
Jessen Mitchelmore (23 goals), Damien Jacobs (21), Tasman Inglis (20)

C Grade:
Austin Waldhoff (27 goals), Ethan Bradford (18), Sarah Standen (14)

The Garry Davidson Memorial Award, for outstanding and above-and-beyond service to TUHA during 2020, was awarded to TUHA President Chris Wright. Unfortunately, due to  "man flu", Chris was unable to attend the Presentations.
