HI All

While I realise there was some confusion with the team sheets last week,
partially due to Amy's sudden resignation and them having to be printed at
the pool. But after processing the sheets can you all please note the
following.

Team Reffing

   - One team was penalised for not providing a referee (at the request of
their captain), when there are no guild referees it is a teams duty to
provide 3 in water and one out of water referees. Teams will be penalised
when they don't have sufficient numbers of referees, be warned.

Referees

   - Reverse recruits in any grade cannot receive best and fairest votes
   - If a player is kicked out during a game they are ineligible for best
and fairest votes, unless they were kicked out for a team foul, such as
   breaking or undeliberate illegal subs

Team sheets

   - Please ensure sheets are filled out. Please mark players with either a
tick or cross, and where it is required to write a player's name in
christain and surname please. Again teams can be penalised for incorrectly
   filled out team sheets.

Players

   - While most players have registered there are a small number of players
who have not registration fees and played last week, there no longer is
five games grace to pay. If you are listed in a team and are not a beginner
player in C Grade, then you should be registered before playing. After this
week teams playing unregistered players will forfeit where the committee
   deems it appropriate.
   - If you are not a reverse recruit (as listed on team sheets) you cannot
play down a grade. Teams who do this can forfeit the game if a protest is
   lodged.
   - Please get approval from or at least notify the opposing captain, when
playing players who are not in your team and your team is short. If you
have 6 or more of your regular players then the opposition captain must
approve any extras playing. If you are playing a player from another team
in the same grade then the opposing team's captain must approve this
   irrespective of numbers.

Sorry for the long winded email, and the threats of penalties, however we
are trying to make it fun and enjoyable for all. Further information in
regard to any of the above can be found in the by-laws.

Cheers

Andrew Cawthorn
