Hi All,

Anyone interested in playing Underwater Hockey in China? Please see

coordinator, by Sunday the 6th of March.

States reps - we have the opportunity to send an aussie team to the china
cup (see basic info  below and in the attachment).

Can you please circulate to your state lists.

Initially we need to get indicative feedback over the next week or so to
gauge interest and if there is we will need someone to act as a
co-ordinator.

In the first instance please ask people to email me if they are interested
in going (and if anyone is interested in being the co-ordinator) by Sunday 6
th of March

There are some quick updates for this tournament,
1. This tournment will be a mixed division, most of rules applied are same
as in the 6th AUWH, eg. 6 players are playing in the water, at least 2 of 6
are women players.
2. Tournament fee is 100 US dollars, including: use of swimming pools,
tournament jersey and award party.
3.  The cost of  official hotel is about 54 US dollars per person per
night, 2 meals will be included.

There are more updates for this tournament,

First, as mentioned in previous email, this tournament will be a mixed
division, therefore,
1. there are no restrictions on nationality, residency for international
clubs.
2. Teams must have 8-12 registered players per team, with 10 maximum
registered for each game.
3. Teams can have a maximum to 4 male players in the water at all times
during a game.
4. The competition will have 2 stages. First, is Round robin, international
clubs will be playing with Chinese clubs in one group of 4-5 teams. Second,
is knockout stage, international clubs will be playing with other
international clubs for a special winner of International Challenge Cup.
