[Uwh-announce] Safety Note & Walls Setup.

Fellow Players a couple of items;

Safety Notice:

Can we all make an effort to ensure the walls are placed in a manor to provide a safe walking passage along the side of the pool prior to them being put into the pool.  Unload and place walls in  diagonal groups, if approximately 1m to 1.5m space can be left, this would be great.

If you see walls placed on the pool deck in an unsafe manor please help out or educate those doing the work as they be unaware of this requirement.

We must remember there are other users of the pool and they need appropriate access along the pool deck, for example - swimming coaches who walk up and the length of the pool.


Wall Set Up Procedure and Tips

Each wall has 6 long sections and 1 short section. The short sections are obvious because of the difference in length but also they have white plastic squares on top at each end, whereas the longer sections do not. There are now some sections with grey pieces on them, so be careful not to confuse those with the white ones.  The wall between Courts 2 & 3 (i.e. the wall installed closest to the dive pool) starts with a short section at the grandstand side of the pool (see in video below), whereas the other 3 walls have their short section on the non-grandstand side.
It is most efficient to screw the bolts in first!
