[Uwh-announce] Pennant 1 Winners and B&F, Next Penant dates, Training Times, Schools Roster and Captains Meetings

Hi all,

A few things to cover off today:

Pennant 1
Congratulations to the teams playing off for glory in the finals for Pennant 1 2014.  All games were very close and exciting to watch.  The winners were:

A-Grade - Red Dogs
B-Grade - Hot Chili Prawns
C-Grade - Grizzlies

The results of the Best and Fairest medals were:

A-Grade - Nick Yong
B-Grade - Daniel Gould
C-Grade - Justin Welch

Daniel and Justin please see me at the pool to collect your medals as well as a great prize donated by Southern Tas Divers. (A Micro Mask each!)

Pennant 2
Pennant 2 starts Wednesday 16 July for seniors and Monday 21 July for Schools

Everyone will have to pay for Pennant 2 soon, more details from Nick shortly.

Training Times
Monday training continues from 7:30-8:30 for 30 June, 7 July, and 14 July and returns to the 8:30-9:30 timeslot from 21 July.

Captains Meetings
Captains meetings will be held on Wednesday 9th July at the pool for the pre-pennant 2 draft.  We have 6 players put their hands up in A-Grade, 2 in B-Grade and none in C-Grade.  We do have a reverse recruit discussion in C-Grade as well.

Times:
A-Grade - 7:00pm 9 July
B-Grade - 7:30pm 9 July
C-Grade - 8:00pm 9 July.

If you cannot make it, please arrange a proxy.

C-Grade Captains please email me if you are happy to discuss the reverse recruit issue via email instead.
