Good morning all.

It is the intention of the committee to let the Captains of each grade have a greater say in the running of their grade. At present email is a good method of consulting. If the captains wish to have regular meetings (before Hockey on Wednesday or at other times) please let the Vice President, Chris Bond or myself know.

The committee have tried to tidy up the By-Laws and a summary of the major changes are below.
Please note we have not been implementing the rules as strictly as we could but this will change!
Please read the by-laws (will be uploaded to the web page soon).
Any comments or suggestions will be taken seriously.

Proposed rules for reverse recruiting:

6.14 Reverse Recruiting.
The intention of this section is to smooth the transition of players back down the grades.
6.14.1 A player wishing to reverse recruit to a lower grade is to notify a member of the committee executive in writing.
6.14.2 The players name will then be circulated to the captains of the lower grade for approval.
6.14.3 The captains of that grade will then offer the player to a suitable team.
6.14.3.1 The captains need to agree on the team for the player.
6.14.3.2 If a majority decision can not be made then the Vice President has the casting vote.
6.14.4 All players are eligible to Reverse recruit to a lower grade providing the team captains of that grade agree to the player participating in that grade.
6.14.5 All reverse recruits shall be marked as such on the team sheet with (RR) next to their name.
6.14.6 If the majority of captains within a grade deem a player is too good to reverse recruit after the player has been accepted, that player will be asked to play in the higher grade only. Note: This rule can only be applied up to the reverse recruits 5th game. It is up to the captains to monitor the reverse recruits in their grade.

All the best
                Mark.
