[Uwh-announce] Week One Semi Finals

G’day all,

Welcome to finals!!!!!

Here are the main events for Week one.

*Note:* *teams have Deck reffing duties*. We will consider forfeits for
teams that fail to supply somebody to deck ref. In finals, that’d be really
bad.


Just a reminder, that all gear MUST BE BLACK OR WHITE as per the rules. If
you are unsure, then there is a really easy test. would you trust it if it
was used as your pedestrian crossing on a eight lane autobahn????


So any doubts, then paint your sticks and replace those faded blue caps. We
will be checking it, as I've seen some shockers recently.



Please be nice to the refs or they'll invoke one of the many rules of the week
(yes, I know, they've been missing lately), with my blessing.


I can guarantee three things:

1. Referees will make mistakes

2. There will always be somebody who is unhappy with the call

3. Any unnecessary arguing over calls will result in a rest on the side. I
stress unnecessary. Captains are well within their rights to discuss a call
with the Referees.

Last but not least:


*Regardless of what you think of the call, it’s what it is. Live with it,
and move on.*
