Hi all,

Just a quick email about the upcoming Manila Invitational Competition (see: http://3punderwaterhockey.com/news-and-events/2012-manila-invitational/)

It is an open invitational competition so people are welcome to do their own thing but in the past the playing group traveling from Australia has tried to send an even mix of teams to these types of competition. The reasons for this approach are simple:

a) it is a social competition;
b) even competitions are always more fun;
c) we are guests of another UWH organization in a foreign country and don't want to look like a bunch of jerks.

The deadline for the submission of team lists is mid-Oct so we are just trying to get an indication of what peoples intentions are (so that we can coordinate teams or not).

It would be great if those who are planning on going could get back to me (reesquilford at hotmail.com<mailto:reesquilford at hotmail.com>). Also, if you know of other people who may be going from Australia and are not on this list please forward it on.
