Hi everyone,

For those who may not yet of heard the tragic news Sharon Davies lost her brave fight against cancer last Friday ! I NEED YOU HELP TO GIVE HER A BEAUTIFUL FAREWELL !

I am tyring to get together a some snap shot memories of Sharon from her Underwater Hockey mates around the world but the funeral is Thursday so need your help urgently !!!.
I think it will be impossible to find someone who can read these out but if anyone feels they could please email me immediately ! So my plan is to make a power point presentation or a video which show a collage of peoples memories and photos of Sharon .

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU in the next 24 hours or less if possible :
1) Any stories or tributes you can write about Sharon, they need to be in both written form and if possible if you have the technology pre –recorded with sound and sent to my email address.Please if you cant record them still send your tribute to my email address as I will try and use everything I get !

2) Any photos of Sharon at all that you have that you can email me even if they are not related to your memory/tribute.

Marty and I will then be working tonight / tomorrow night on these to make a presentation we can play at the funeral.
Please take a few minutes out of your busy life to do this for Sharon !

I know this sad news has been told already, It will take a but moment to inform the Monash mailing list.

It is with great sadness that I pass on the news that Sharon Davies passed away early Friday afternoon. Sharon’s passing was peaceful and she was in the company of friends and family.

Sharon is and will always be an important part of the Monash team. Sharon is and will be remembered as a caring and loving person who by her generosity has enriched us all.  Speaking for myself, Sharon is sorely missed already.

Our thoughts for the future are now with Sharon and Pete's daughters, Sandra, Lisa, Nicole and Amber  please know that we respected and loved your parents greatly, and will always remember with pleasure the time we spent with them.

Thank-you Sharon and Pete for your time with us, please rest in peace.
