Subject: Fins Fins and more Fins
Announce please Craig, lots of people have been asking about these lately:
Hi there hockey players,
So there has been a lot of buzz around the pool lately from people looking for new Fins. With the world championships just around the corner a lot of us are looking for fins for this comp. This provides the opportunity for a few people to 'piggyback' their order onto ours, because the more we order the cheaper we get the shipping, and the better DISCOUNT we get.
All the prices listed below are if we order one pair, the more pairs we order, the cheaper it will be. We will be purchasing direct from the manufacturer so I can guarantee you won't find these fins (new) cheaper anywhere else. I personally believe these two brands make the best quality, performance and comfortable fibre/carbon fins on the market.
We are ordering fins from two brands Brier and Leader
My personal opinion (having played and tried all brands and models (except the latest leader model UWG 160 - angle blades) in a range of games and training from Wednesday night club hockey to world championships.
- For sheer quality and top end performance you can't go past carbon fins
- For manoeuvrability and acceleration open heel fins will out perform foot pockets every time.
- Foot pocket models are more comfortable on your feet (certainly less likely to cause bunions, blisters etc)
o The Brier foot pocket fins are a more versatile fin than the Leader equivalent (you pay for than)
Leaders
Many styles and models, both open heel and foot pocket, carbon and fibreglass. Original leaders were quite heavy, these days they are as light as any other fin on the market, and certainly as well padded (comfortable) if not better than most.

The most popular models to consider are:
- UW game fins 210 (carbon open heel) 160 Euro
- UW game Fins 2006 (Fibreglass open heel) 129 Euro
- UWG fins Carbon (carbon foot pocket) 180 Euro
- UW games fins 135 (fibreglass foot pocket) 130 Euro
There are a lot of other leader designs on their website. Simply put, the longer the fin the fast it will be but harder to turn, the shorter fins will have better acceleration and manoeuvrability, but at a cost to top speed.

All I need is model number and size. (which for the Brier open heels is done as per the attached document)
