[Uwh-announce] New pub for Wed nights

Hi All,

Your TUHA Committee have decided that it is time to move pubs.  We have had a good relationship with Prince of Wales Hotel in Battery Point during  the past few years, but the general feeling was that a change was due.  Your Social Director, Jason Whelan, has been busy behind the scenes looking into alternative venues and it is with much fanfare (hoopin'n'hollerin', tootin'n'trumpeting !!) that we announce that our new base for Wed nights social gathering is...............
.....drum-roll please............
The Theatre Royal Hotel in Campbell St     (Yaaaaaay!!! And the crowds cheered and roared, Yaaaaaay!!! and blessed their Social Director, showering him with voluminous praise).


The Theatre Royal is superbly located, close to the pool.  The Theatre Royal management have offered courtesy nibblies  - "bar snacks that comprise of a variation of seasoned wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli, cocktail springrolls, cocktail samosas, moneybags, calamari rings and dipping sauce. We shall gladly donate a bottle of our house wine for a lucky ticket draw."  And  courtesy use of a meeting room for meetings/functions.

Please come along and support this new base for our post-game gatherings on Wed nights.

PS.  Theatre Royal have been warned about The Grizzlies and now have a strategy in place.
