[Uwh-announce] General Training tonight + Wed's Grand Finals

Hi All,

1.  With the resumption of Schools Comp tonight, General Training returns to the normal time of 8.30 - 9.30pm.

2.  We are hoping to have live-filming (projection to our pool-side plasma screen) and recording of Wed night's Grand Finals.  So we encourage all to come along and watch these finals and then join for a celebratory drink for the end of the season at the Theatre Royal Hotel.

GOAL TRAY DAMAGE:    Lately our plastic goals have suffered some damage through poor handling.  PLEASE TAKE CARE when  unloading and loading the goal trays off and onto the trolley, and PLEASE DO NOT drop them onto the ground.  Even though they are light enough to be handled by one person, we would much prefer two persons are involved when the trays are being moved.  AND PLEASE DO NOT push the goals into the pool unless there is at least one person in the water to take hold and see the tray makes it gently to the bottom.
Yes these plastic trays are less strong than our old metal ones, but the health and safety benefits that come with the lighter goals make them a good thing.
Note:  More of the goal trays will be going in for repairs after Wed night's finals.
