[Uwh-announce] Roster for 2nd Semi Finals + other important things

Hi All,

1.  The roster for next Wednesday's 2nd Semi-Finals is attached.    Reffing allocations to follow.

2.  NO UNDERWATER HOCKEY this Monday 13th June because of the Public Holiday.

2. A reminder that Pennant 2 will start on Wed 13th July.  Thank you to all Capts who have confirmed your team's participation in this next pennant. For those who haven't sent that confirmation yet, please do so asap.

3.  The Pre-Pennant Capts/Draft Meetings for all grades will be held on Tuesday 28th June at the Aquatic Centre meeting room beginning at 6.15pm.     A Grade meeting 6.15 - 7.00pm,   B Grade  7.00 - 7.45pm, and C Grade  7.45 - 8.30pm.

4.  All players wanting to go into the pre-Pennant drafts, please send your names to me asap, and include mention of your preferred playing position.   Also, any players wanting to become a Recruit player to a higher grade team for this new pennant, please send me an email.

5.  And a reminder that the TUHA Annual General Meeting will be held on Week 2 (i.e. 20th July) at the pool in a break  between games.  So, the last round of games on that night will start at 9.40pm or thereabouts instead of the usual 9.03pm.

6.  We encourage you all to come along to the Theatre Royal Hotel on the evening of the Grand Finals (Wednesday 22nd June) to celebrate the end of the pennant.  There will be some tasty good nibblies, courtesy of the hotel.

7.  To be confirmed soon, but it is likely the Presentations to the winning teams and Best and Fairest Players for Pennant 1 will be done as part of the AGM on 20th July.  We feel this may be the best way of ensuring that  a good number of members of winning teams are actually present for the presentations and similarly for the Best & Fairest presentations !

8.  Katelyn ten Bensel is missing a cap.  See her email copied below.    If you know of her cap's whereabouts, please send an email.

Hello all,
Has anyone picked up a spare white waterpolo cap by accident?  It is a
Finis cap number 11, I only just bought them new for nationals.  I
probably left it by the pool accidentally sometime in the last few
weeks, so if you have acquired it could you please let me know -it has
great sentimental value (not really, but I would still really like it
back!).
