[Uwh-announce] Summary of Committee positions duties + AGM + revised roster

Hi All,

Another reminder about the AGM that will happen during a break in games this coming Wed night (27th) at the pool.  The first round of games will kick off as per usual at 7.15pm and then there will be no games during 7.50 - 8.25pm while we have the AGM. And we will be starting the clock for the 7.15pm games AT 7.15pm, so if you are playing in one of those first games, please help to get the walls in quickly! We have a lot to get through in this relatively short meeting so we will aim to start right on time.  

This of course means that all later games are postponed by 30 mins or so, so the games that normally start at 7.51pm will start at 8.30pm pm, the 8.27pm games will start at 9.05pm, and the 9.03pm games will start around 9.40pm. I hope that all makes sense.
Ideally, we'd love as many of you as possible to be there in time for the AGM. The main activity for the meeting are the elections for Committee positions but we'll also be doing the presentations of the trophies and medals for the Pennant 1 comp.

I have attached a summary of duties for each of the Committee positions.  The full list of Committee positions is given on p1 of this doc. The positions that we know are definitely being 'vacated' are President, Treasurer,  Development Officer, and Social Director. And we are creating (assuming the motion gets passed) a new position "Webmaster" to look after the TUHA website.

This is your chance to join the Committee and help provide an effective, vibrant, dynamic organisational structure for our Association during 2011/2012.  And as mentioned earlier, we are particularly keen to see more representation by B and C Grades on the Committee as it has been heavily populated by A Grade members for some time.
If you do have interest in nominating for any of the positions, it would help if you let me know before Wed night.  But if you prefer to wait until the elections to make your nomination, that's fine too. 

And finally, I have attached an updated version of the Pennant 2 roster.  We discovered that the earlier version sent out was missing a week (week of 3rd Aug was missing).
