[Uwh-announce] Important things for Pennant 1 - PLEASE ALL READ

Hi All,


1.     Thank you to those Capts who responded to my earlier call for confirmation of teams and player lists for Pennant 1 which begins on Wednesday 23rd Feb.  However, we still have many teams from last pennant yet to be confirmed.  If your Capt or other team rep does not confirm your team by COB this Friday 21st Jan, your team may not be included in the roster.  The teams that have confirmed already are highlighted in yellow in the attached Excel file.  I realise many Capts may have been on holidays not checking emails. If  you see your team unhighlighted, please give your Capt a razz-up and get she/he to respond to this call. If you know that your Capt is away and unlikely to see emails, please get in touch with your Vice-Capt and ask she/he to respond for your team.
Note:  Some player listings need to be confirmed, contingent on Grading Committee decisions on Recruit players and alike.


2.     So far I only have 1 player listed for the draft selections.  If you want to go into the A, B, or C grade drafts, please let me know asap.  Similarly, if you are keen to be a Recruit player to a higher grade team this pennant, and don't yet have a team identified to be your host team, let us know.


3.     The Draft/Capts meetings for A, B, and C grades will be on evening of Tues 8 Feb at the pool.  Exact times of those meetings to be announced soon, but they will follow the usual format of A Grade first, then B Grade, then C Grade.  If you are a Team Capt and you cannot be present at your Grades meeting, please arrange for someone from your team to represent your team.  These meetings are for the draft but also to discuss important matters for the pennant, so it is very important each team has a rep there.
