Hi All,



Some of you will already know of this very sad news.

David Mayne, team member of C Grade team SOS, passed away on Saturday, after a relatively short battle with cancer.

On behalf of all in TUHA, I express our great sadness at this tragic loss and our thoughts are very much with David's family and friends, including his fellow SOS teammates.



Quoting Dave Rush, Captain of SOS;

"Dave started with SOS in 2008 as a fill in and, as every first time player does, proceeded to slowly drown over the next 30 min. He went on to love the game, the competition and the friendly banter. Without a doubt he was our most enthusiastic player and team member."



David's funeral is on tomorrow at Turnbull Family Funerals, 71 Letitia St., beginning at 3pm. There will be drinks and a bbq at David's house following the funeral, and, according to Dave Rush, "All welcome".
