Hi All,
1. See Nat Wickham's message below regarding training sessions ahead for female players interested in playing in the 2011 Nationals
"To all girls/ladies, interested players for 2011 National champs. Please reply to natalie.wickham at education.tas.gov.au with your thoughts on a Thursday training night in Oct/Nov/Dec. Are you interested in attending, what types of things would you like to take part in (including reffing, skill development, mentoring, game strategy, filming etc etc), what level of committment to these sessions could you make? This email is a request for information from our female players only and will help to inform any discussion around Training times in the future. Thanks. Nat."
Natalie Wickham,
Kingston Primary
2. PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN HANDLING/LIFTING/INSTALLING THE PLASTIC GOALS. Our plastic goals have already suffered some damage from rough handling (and not from pucks!). They are expensive to repair, so please take care when moving them around to avoid hard knocks and particularly to avoid bangs on their front edges. They are not anywhere as strong and robust as our old metal goals, but they are so much easier to lift.
3. As many of you would be aware, most of our flat goal bolts (i.e. the bolts used for securing the goals to the pool bottom to stop them moving during the game) have gone missing. We have looked everywhere for them but can't find them. If anyone knows the whereabouts of the bolts please let me know asap.
Craig
