[Uwh-announce] Three important things

Hi All,

1.  THERE WILL BE NO UNDERWATER HOCKEY (MON & WED NIGHTS)  IN THE WEEK OF 27 SEPTEMBER  - 1 OCTOBER.  Why ?  Because of Water Polo Championships. 
 I have attached a revised roster from your Vice-President, Chris Cleaver.  So, essentially all weeks, on the earlier version of the roster, are shifted by one week and our Pennant 2 season will now finish on 8th December.
Note:  There are still lots of blank spots on this roster where some teams have yet to provide names of refs. Could Capts of those teams PLEASE provide names to Chris (ccleaver at sandybaybooks.com.au) for filling those blanks asap.Thank you to all those teams that did provide names for reffing slots when asked earlier. 

2.This is a call for expressions of interest for State Coaches for the teams that will be competing at the Nationals 2011, which will be in Canberra. We are still waiting on exact dates to be announced but it will definitely be on and around the March long weekend, 12th - 14th March.
The Coaching positions are:
Mens Team Coach
Womens Team Coach
Juniors Team Coach 
Mens Masters Team Coach
Womens Masters Team Coach (on the assumption there will be entries of Womens Masters Teams for these Nationals)
 
 If we get more than one nomination for any position it will go to the TUHA Committee for a final decision(s).  There is also the possibility of Assistant Coaching positions.
 
We also seek expressions of interest from anyone willing to take on the job as Team Manager.  It will require making sure our Teams are properly registered, organising team uniforms, and other things directly related to the Teams themselves. The job of Team Manager is one that could be taken on by a keen parent or shared by a couple of parents of players competing in the Championships.   A great way to be involved in Tassie's Nationals campaign !!
 
If you do wish to nominate for any of the abovementioned positions or wish to put your parent's name forward for Team Manager (after discussing it with him/her/them first !), please let me know asap. We would like to finalise these positions by 30th September.

3. State Team Training will commence the Week 20th Sept.   Monday night training session that week will be from 7.30 - 9.30pm and Thursday night trainings will commence that week, 8.00 - 9.30pm.  We will provide more information soon on how those training sessions will be structured.  Monday night sessions will still include General Training for non-State players.
