[Uwh-announce] 1st Semi Finals

Hi All,

Attached are:
1.  The Final Ladders for Pennant 2 -  2010.  The more astute among you may notice that the total points tallies are lower than what you might expect, based on the earlier versions of the ladders that were posted on the TUHA website.  That is because there was an error in the earlier versions, in the number of points awarded to teams for a win (5 points were given instead of the correct 4).   Many thanks to Colin Hepher for doing these final ladders.

2. Schedule of 1st Semi Finals for next Wed, 24th Nov.     Reffing allocations to be announced soon.

Congratulations to all those teams who made it through to the finals.  Commiserations to those who did not  (Dead Penguins was robbed !!)

We look forward to an exciting finals series.

On another note.......
Prince of Wales Hotel have apologised for the no-show of nibblies last Wed night.  This was the result of a misunderstanding of the existing agreement between our Association and the new management of the hotel.  Rest assured THERE WILL be complimentary  nibblies served on future Wed nights ( during the pennants).  We also have agreement from the hotel to continue the arrangement that if the hotel's kitchen is closed, pizzas may be purchased from outside the hotel and brought into the pub.  Generally this means NO pizzas to be brought into the pub UNTIL AFTER 9pm.
