Hi All,

Last night's AGM was not able to proceed because we did not have a quorum. There were around 15 members who attended and we needed to achieve a quorum of 20% of our TUHA membership (a bit under 200 members) before we could proceed with the meeting.  So, we were well short of reaching a quorum.  And when you take into account 8 of those present were current Committee members, it is was a VERY DISAPPOINTING  turn-out from our membership to put it mildly. 
Some made the suggestion I did not advertise loudly enough that there would be free beer and nibblies. But in my mind, it is a sad state of affairs if we can only reach a quorum with those lures.  I hope this is not a true reflection of the level of apathy among our members for the organisational side of our competitions or an indication that all the hard work your Committee puts in is taken for granted.

The Committee will discuss further and come up with a date for another AGM for sometime during the next few weeks.
