[Uwh-announce] Players eligible for the Finals

Hi All,

The attached file shows the players, for each of the teams in the Finals, who are eligible to play in this finals series.  This is based on the information on number of games played, as recorded from tyhe weekly teamsheets and entered into our TUHA database.

According to TUHA ByLaws, to be able to play in a finals series you have to have played at least 5 games with your team during the pennant.  However, this does not apply to Recruit players.  See the relevant Bylaws copied below.

Captains, if you have any queries/disputes  in regards to these lists please let me know asap.  Please do not leave it until Wednesday night.

6.5.4

 Any recruit may play in their recruiting team in a finals series game regardless of the minimum number of games a recruit has played for that team in the pennant.


9.3 To be eligible to play for a team in the finals, a player must have played a minimum of five games for that team during the pennant, however extraordinary circumstances may be considered by the TUHA Committee.

9.4 Players who have played at least one game for a higher graded team (than the team with which they are registered) may play for that higher graded team in a final without consent from the opposing Captain to make the playing team’s numbers up to six. Additional players beyond six requires the opposing Captain’s consent.
