[Uwh-announce] Ladders + Pennant 1 Presentation Night

Hi All,

Our Desk Attendant, Christian, has done a fantastic job in getting the ladders updated with the results of the last 3 weeks so you can now go into the TUHA website (www.underwaterhockey.com.au<http://www.underwaterhockey.com.au>) and see where your team ended up this pennant.  Well done to all those teams who made it through to the finals, and commiserations to those who missed out (my team included....sob, sob..).

Simon has just done the roster for next Wednesdays first semi-finals - see the attached files.  Reffing allocations to follow soon. And many, BIG thanks to those who have volunteered for reffing duties during this finals series.

Mid-Year Presentation Night.
Unfortunately, bookings for the Mid-Year Presentation Night for Prince of Wales Hotel on Fri 2nd July have been too few and we were unable to hold space at POW.  So, we have now decided to hold the Presentation Night (which includes the Best & Fairest counts) at another venue, and on a later date.  The venue is still being determined. Hopefully we can announce that by early this coming week.   The new date is Friday 16th July.   There will be live music, provided by local band Wildcards.

There will be no Schools Comp and no training on this Monday (14th June) because of Queens Birthday Holiday.

Pennant 2 is currently scheduled to start on Wed 28th July (to be confirmed), so there will be a 3 week break between the Grand Finals and the resumption of games.
