[Uwh-announce] Results of last night's Grand Finals

Hi All,

The results of last night's Grand Finals were as follows:

A Grade  - Red Dogs  6  def  Berserkers  3
B grade -   Old puckers 4  def  Hot Chilli Prawns 3
C Grade  - Grizzlies from Hell 6  def  Zooluus  2

CONGRATULATIONS to the winning teams and commiserations to the runners-up teams.
We hope the winning teams will turn out in good numbers for the presentation of their trophies at Sunday's BBQ. We have been disappointed with the number of winning-team players at the past few Presentations.

Many thanks to all those who helped with this finals series, and special BIG THANKS to all those who reffed.

Thanks too to Rowan Bridley for use of his camera equipment for last night, and we are very sorry we could not get things working for filming during the C grade final (we tried, really, really hard !).

PS.   Rumour has it The Grizzlies are changing their team name to "The Slingshots" for next pennant. Not sure why.
PPS.  Lost property left at the pool last night includes a travel cushion "Oz Trail" brand, a pair of blue Spalding brand shorts, and a cage-style mouthguard.  Let me know if you are the owner of any of these.
