1. Firstly an interesting news piece from our Media Liaison Officer, Garry Davidson.  Make of it what you will:

"Last night (Dec 1), Grizzlie From Hell icon Heny Maxwell, showed again why the Grizzlies remain the paragons of virtue in the underwater hockey league. Faced with a young woman in desperate need of underpants at our regular watering hole, the Prince of Wales, Henry gallantly provided his own, putting a happy smile on the distressed womans face as she clutched that worthy and most reliable of garments to her chest (for the record, they appeared to be black and white striped, with an attractive dark wide elastic top). The call had gone out to all men in the bar, but only one man stood up. 

Henry Maxwell, the Sir Lancelot of underwater hockey. We salute you."

4.  End-of-Year Raffle:

If you have not yet purchased any tickets for the End-of-Year Raffle, which has some super-fantastic prizes (see below), I encourage you to do so.  All proceeds go to covering costs of the Xmas BBQ and towards equipment for the Association.  Only $2/ticket. But if you do order them by email, we will not rest until we get the money from you (big men, big uwh bats....get the picture ?).
