[Uwh-announce] Minutes of 2010 AGM

Hi All,

Attached are the Minutes from last Wed's AGM (which include my President's Report as an attachment). Many thanks to Glenn (Mr Secretary) for taking the minutes during the meeting and for preparing this doc.
and many thanks to All who attended the meeting. Having the AGM at the pool during a break between games seemed to work well and we will certainly consider it as an option for next year's AGM.  The only drawback is that it doesn't allow much time for people to raise issues and for those to be discussed. However, we could ask for members to submit items for discussion beforehand. As I said at the meeting, if at any time you have an issue or suggestion that you would like considered by the TUHA Committee, please do not hesitate in raising that with me or another member of the Committee in email, by phone,  or in person at the pool.

At the AGM  I said we would need to confirm with Nick Martyn (currently playing and reffing at championships in Columbia) that we was actually willing to take on the Chief Referee's position. I can now report that Nick has confirmed his willingness to take that on. Thanks Nick !!!!

At the AGM I should also have thanked Scott Allen and Sush for the wonderful banner we now have for promoting our sport.  Thanks Scott ! 
We also have a glossy brochure planned for distribution to Schools and elsewhere (e.g. pool entry area).

I take this opportunity to thank everyone who have assisted in the running of our Association and the various events of the past year!!

PS.  Reports by Coaches Tom Solopotias and Arnie Piccoli, on the recent Trans Tasman Comp in NZ, have been posted on the Underwater Hockey Australia website (www.underwaterhockeyaustralia.org.au)
