Hi All,

Apologies for any double-postings. We are still experiencing issues with uwh-announce. I know some you will already have received the message below earlier today, but I also know many of you (those with UTas email addresses did not). Our server administrator has advised me to try sending again.

Just a few things.......

1. As some of you will be aware, Claire Morford-Waite who was our Desk Attendant, has vacated that position after scoring a full-time job about 3 weeks ago. During her relatively short stay, Claire did a great job (Thanks again Claire !!). Fortunately for us, her brother Christian has taken over on the desk and is also doing great things. If you haven't already, please take the opportunity to introduce yourself to Christian.
He has been getting the results up onto the website in quick smart time and the ladders are not too far away.

2. And speaking of the desk and Christian reminds me to remind you about registrations. Many thanks to those who have registered and paid subs already. If you haven't yet paid your subs, you need to do so by the time you play your 5th game. If you play a 5th game and have not paid your rego, your team will face a forfeit penalty. This does not include games you may have played as a Recruit in a higher grade. It only applies to games you have played with your 'normal' team.
Rego fees are as follows:
Senior : $70
Student : $65 (Student card required)
Junior : $60 (U18), ($40 if registered with a schools team in the high schools competition)

3. Lost and Found. I will soon create a Lost and Found page on our TUHA website. If you have lost something let me know and I'll post a note to that page. Similarly, if you have found something at the pool (apart from the obvious things like loss of fitness, lack of breathe, your bathers have holes where there shouldn't be holes etc.) that belongs to someone else and you think they'd appreciate getting it back, let me know and I'll post a note.
But in the meantime has anyone seen Amelie Meyer's gear ? See her note below.

Craig

Subject: Query on misplaced gear...

Hi Craig,

How are you? Good week end?

Meant to send this last week but here it is:

Misplaced my blue cap (No 3) and a (new) black stick (true blue dorsal stick with texture) on Wednesday 14th April. Played the 9pm game in court 3 (Arriba vs Cilia) in black, then jumped in the water for a white game (Aqua vs Cardiac) and when I came back out (10.15pm), my black gear was missing from the side of the pool/grandstand...
It was not in the lost property last week and I was wondering if a good soul had picked it up for me by any chance...

Cheers,
Amélie
