<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-AU">Due to the rapidly developing situation with COVID-19, we have made the tough decision to close the Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre (DKHAC) for at least two weeks from the close of business on
Tuesday, March 17. We will base the decision on whether to re-open in a fortnight on the information available at the time.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-AU"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-AU">In light of prevention measures currently being recommended by health authorities such as social distancing, we have made this decision in the interest of the health and wellbeing of our members,
guests and staff.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-AU"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-AU">DKHAC is a multi-faceted centre, including a gym, group fitness classes, a cafe and our swimming pools. A large number of people visit the centre every day including people who may be considered
vulnerable to COVID-19.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-AU"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-AU">In regards to user group bookings, the 10 day cancellation clause in agreements or similar is null and void. There will be no fees associated with any cancellations relating to COVID-19 concerns
or due to the Centre closing. Current members will be contacted with further information regarding their membership.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
