To celebrate this, we will have TWO rules this week – because I noticed these things when refereeing and playing last night!!!!!!

<p class="p1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">From the CMAS Rules – v10 (which I might add, are badly due for an update!!!)

</span><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt">11.3.3.1 Hand protection worn by players (e.g. gloves) must be of a color that strongly contrasts with the color of that player's stick and the color of the puck used for the match. This is to avoid confusion if the
puck is being controlled by the player’s hand. Players may not wear a glove of a color that could be confused with the Water Referees’ gloves being used at any competition, which shall always be bright yellow or orange <o:p></o:p></span></b></p>

<p class="p1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Last night while refereeing, I noticed a few people who were using very dark (or black – Claire!) gloves, when playing with black sticks!

<p class="p1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">This rule WILL be enforced in all grades this pennant, so please make sure you have a ‘neutral’ coloured glove!!!<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">If you need a new glove, you can come to the TUHA glove making workshop that Jana is running on Saturday (!), or alternatively, buy from one of the UWH gear manufacturers/resellers:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

markings could create confusion as to the color of the stick, the stick may be removed from play for that match. <o:p></o:p></span></b></p>

<p class="p1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">For those of you using wooden sticks (HARRY!!!

<u>well painted</u>. Get a plastic stick if you can’t be bothered!!! If you like a big hook, I can recommend the Hydro Numbats!
