It is the excessive consumption of alcohol cast as a “real good night” in the President’s message (to young and old), that is a discredit to the TUHA. <div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Excessive alcohol consumption, as we all know, often leads to regrets and worse . . . human tragedies. It should not be condoned and certainly not upheld as a “real good <i class="">anything</i>” by responsible sports Associations and their Executive.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><div class="">If TUHA wants to encourage younger members (and their parents) to attend functions and develop relationships with the older players, TUHA should consider whether those young members would/should want to witness the older players consuming alcohol to the extent described in the President’s message as a “real good night”. </div></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Last year’s Pennant Presentation Night WAS a success, and I thank you again for organising it, Tori. Both Heather and I attended and enjoyed ourselves.
