<div>Clarification on some rules</div>

<div>A couple of weeks ago, the issue of playing with red gloves came up. Under the rules it clearly states that yellow or orange gloves are out, and while red gloves aren't specifically mentioned, they are also out. The reason for this is that they are similar
enough to the colour of the puck and the refs orange gloves to make it hard for the ref to pick up some fouls, and for the players to clearly distinguish between the players glove and the refs glove. </div>

<div>If the ref makes the call that your glove is not suitable because it is red (or orange or yellow) you need to live with it and move on.</div>

</div>
<div>While we are talking about rules, there are some rules regarding players filling in for other teams. The general principle is that players can only fill in if the captain obtains permission from the opposing captain, except where the team has less than
six players. Players from a higher grade cannot play down except where they are designated as a reverse recruit.</div>

</div>
<div>It is expected that several teams will be short while players are away for the worlds, and we would encourage all players to assist teams where they can, but just be mindful that there are rules in place to make it fair for all teams, and if you go outside
the rules you risk copping a penalty. So when in doubt, check the rules (the bylaws ar on the TUHA website), talk to the opposing captain and make sure that they are happy with the fill in players.</div>

<div>Finally, we are getting quiet slack with filling in the team sheets properly. Of note the scores should be tallied correctly. The refs including the guild ref where applicable should be noted in the left hand column (note the instructions on the teamsheets).
All recruits and reverse recruits should be noted, and any other players from another grade should also have their grade noted next to their name. </div>

<div>Note reverse recruits are not eligible for votes, and votes received by players when filling in for other teams in their grade won't be counted.</div>
