We have had a good relationship with Prince of Wales Hotel in Battery Point during the past few years, but the general feeling was that a change was due. Your Social Director, Jason Whelan, has been busy behind the scenes looking into alternative venues and it is with much fanfare (hoopin’n’hollerin’, tootin’n’trumpeting !!) that we announce that our new base for Wed nights social gathering is……………<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>…..drum-roll please…………<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The Theatre Royal Hotel in Campbell St (Yaaaaaay!!! And the crowds cheered and roared, Yaaaaaay!!! and blessed their Social Director, showering him with voluminous praise).<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>The Theatre Royal is superbly located, close to the pool. The Theatre Royal management have offered courtesy nibblies - “bar snacks that comprise of a variation of seasoned wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli, cocktail springrolls, cocktail samosas, moneybags, calamari rings and dipping sauce.
